Which WAYPOINT Adventure Should You Play First?
The best first WAYPOINT adventure is usually the one whose situation makes you curious. Each title gives you an authored solo journey, decisions with consequences, and its own way of putting pressure on your character. Here is a spoiler-light guide to the four Enhanced Digital adventures currently in the store.
The Last Ember: carry hope into a dying kingdom
Valdris is in the grip of the Pale. A summons draws you toward Mount Cinder and the possibility of rekindling the Heartforge. Your first choices include whom to approach among the other travelers on the road. Choose this adventure if you want a mountain journey with companions, dwindling resources, and a large question about what saving a place may cost.
The Cartographer's Last Map: make a record of the unknown
Three expeditions have failed before yours. You inherit their notes and a commission to map a route through the mountains before the season closes. The opening starts at the Lyceum, with questions to ask and an expedition to accept. Choose it if exploration, field notes, changing weather and the act of mapping are what draw you into a story.
Its Mapping Book gives your journey a tangible companion. The onboarding also identifies the extra d8 and d12 used by particular tables, so check that short equipment list before settling in.
Saltbound: plan a heist against eight dawns
In Porthmere, you carry a debt you did not choose. The proof that could clear it is aboard a ship you cannot legally board. Eight dawns give the adventure its shape as you investigate the harbor, build relationships and decide where to spend your efforts. Choose Saltbound if you enjoy a contained city, a concrete objective and the pressure of deciding what deserves another day.
The Heartforge Echo: descend into something that still answers
Pyrethion is dead, but something beneath the dragon's ribs still responds. A salvage camp gathers beneath immense bones while rival interests try to define what the discovery means. Your opening motive can be a commission, a missing person, debt or duty. Choose The Heartforge Echo if you want a science-fiction descent, unsettling machinery and the tension of working inside a place that may be responding to you.
Use the previews to make the decision
Every product gallery now includes genuine interior pages. Look at the prose, the illustrations and how the opening choices are presented. That is a better guide to your taste than a claim that one adventure is right for everyone.
Each current store title is $20 USD as an Enhanced Digital download. The exact contents are listed on its product page, and the current Core Rules package is included. These listings supply digital files; the open-book photographs are presentation mockups. Read the main adventure's setup first and save its spoiler material for later.
